Compensation for Egg Donors
The donation process requires your time and effort, and you should be rewarded generously for it. Through our program in San Antonio, donors earn up to $10,000 per donation, with the opportunity to donate up to six times.
“My husband I had struggled with fertility for years and egg donation was our last option to build the family that we dreamed of. We are forever grateful!”
“During the process of becoming an egg donor, I learned so much about myself. Not only was I able to help a family, but the compensation allowed me to pay off my student loans and get a jumpstart on life!”
Egg Donor Candidates | Application Requirements
If you'd like to be considered as an Aspire Fertility egg donor, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- Women must be between 21 and 31 years old (you can donate up to age 34)
- Body mass index (BMI) under 30
- Have at least a high school diploma or GED; college preferred
- No nicotine or drug use
- Have regular menstrual cycles
Step 1 | Complete an Online Application
First, you’ll have to fill out a brief initial application. If approved, you can expect to complete a more in-depth questionnaire, including photographs, and extensive information about your personal and family medical history, and your interests and hobbies. Think of this step as your best chance to share all that is unique and compelling about yourself with our team and prospective future parents!
Step 2 | Phone Interview and Medical Screening Process
Once you’ve completed the online questionnaire and your first phone interview, qualified candidates will be scheduled to begin their screening process. You can expect a vaginal ultrasound and bloodwork to evaluate ovarian reserve, which is your number of healthy eggs. You’ll also undergo an array of genetic testing and infectious disease testing, a thorough physical examination, and psychological testing and evaluation.
Step 3 | The Stimulation Cycle
Assuming your eligibility requirements are satisfied, and you are approved to donate your eggs, the next step is to schedule a stimulation cycle and egg retrieval. During the stimulation cycle, which takes about two weeks, you will self-administer fertility medication to stimulate the production of eggs.
Step 4 | The Egg Retrieval Stage
When your body is sufficiently ready, you will be scheduled for egg retrieval. With this minimally invasive, outpatient procedure, which typically takes about 20 minutes, you’ll be under IV sedation.
It’s natural that you may have questions or concerns about egg donation. If you would like to speak to someone, whether about the process, application, or compensation, we encourage you to contact our San Antonio Team at [email protected]
