Cheryl Koone is the Nurse Practitioner who collaborates with our Reproductive Endocrinologists to help our patients start a family. She is dedicated to helping you navigate through every step of the fertility process.

Cheryl has worked in the fertility field for more than 30 years. She began her career as a Medical Assistant, went on to become a Registered Nurse and finally fulfilled her dream of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her RN degree from San Antonio College, and both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
With her own 15-year old daughter the gift of successful Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Cheryl has walked in your shoes. She understands the physical and emotional challenges, of your journey and responds with warmth, compassion, empathy, and hope. Her areas of expertise include third-party reproduction, advanced reproductive age, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). She is also passionate about LGBTQ family-building.
Cheryl is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Women’s Professional Group, a member of the American Nurse’s Association (ANA) and the Texas Nurses Association (TNA). In her spare time, she loves to read, watch The Office and spend time with her six dogs.
