An IVF cycle typically takes around six to eight weeks and can cost tens of thousands of dollars. Although it's more expensive than IUI, it also has higher pregnancy rates. For certain patients, it may be more beneficial to undergo one or two cycles of IVF rather than multiple unsuccessful cycles of IUI.
